All courses run from 9.30 - 4.00 and include refreshments.
Courses held in Wolverhampton cost £135 inc vat
and courses held at London,York or Edinburgh cost £165
inc vat per delegate.
Our courses are always popular

Finance
Co-ordinator
- Setting up accounts
This course is for those who want
to start 'from scratch' and may not have used any computerised
accounts before.
|
Items
covered:
Brief overview of fund accounting, setting up simple accounts
including adding nominal codes, funds, bank accounts, starting
balances and transactions. Worked examples are given as
are sample exercises to try during the day.

- Running accounts
This course is designed for those
who have setup their accounts and want to start running
their accounts on a day to day basis.

Items
covered:
Entering memorised and regular transactions, multiple income
and expenditure transactions, standing orders and post box/agency
accounts. Bank reconciliation, cost centres, year-end procedures,
producing the SOFA, report analysis and other standard reports.

- Advanced accounts
This course is for those with a good knowledge of Finance
Co-ordinator and fund accounting
|
Items
covered:
Creating and using suppliers and grantors, memorised multiple
income and expenditure transactions, Journal entries including
payroll entires and standing orders, Fixed assets including
purchase, depreciation, sale (including profit/loss on sale),
Loans - receiving and repaying, prepayments and accruals,
linking to Donations Co-ordinator and multiple organisation
reporting.

covered:
Setting up passwords, users, user rights, and preferences.
Entering household and personal records including relationships.
Recording skills, groups, activities, visits and tasks.
Recording general and confidential notes. Querying the data,
filters, producing reports and labels.

Donations
Co-ordinator
This course is for those who want
to start 'from scratch'.
|
Items
covered:
Setting up Donations Co-ordinator, Adding purposes and funds,
Creating records and recording donations, Setting up regular
gifts and standing orders, Producing donation reports, Making
claims, handling existing covenents, Audit trails for IR
inspection, Importing and exporting records and backup and
restore.

The small print
Full payment is required before the
course. If you cancel your place more than three weeks before
the course there will be no charge. If you cancel up to two
weeks before the course we only charge a £20.00 administration
fee. If you cancel less than two weeks before the course payment
is required in full and there is no refund.

Membership
Efficient membership administration makes life easier
and supports growth. Use Membership Co-ordinator
to record details on members, groups, visits, to
create rotas and to let leaders and volunteers know
what's happening.
Accounts
Finance Co-ordinator has been designed to handle
the accounts of churches and charities as required
by the Charities Act. It records designated, unrestricted,
restricted and endowment funds with full reporting,
budgets, account analysis, prepayments and accruals
and will print a SOFA.
Gift
aid
Donations Co-ordinator will manage donations,
taxable or not with ease. It produces the necessary
R68 schedules, approved by the Inland Revenue.
Donations Co-ordinator also provides full audit
trailing, retrospective claims, statistical analysis,
Gift Aid declarations, email facilities, various
reports and labels.
