We have designed Donations Co-ordinator
to manage all donations in accordance with the HM Revenue
and Customs (HMRC) regulations, which became effective
on 6th April 2000 and were updated in 2007. Since
May 2000 thousands of churches and charities have claimed
their gift aid using programs written by Data Developments.
Using Donations Co-ordinator you can mark donations
given for different purposes or funds; accept one-off
gifts, regular gifts and standing orders. There is no
limit on the number of donors or donations you can store.
You can make multiple claims each year, if required,
with a few simple key clicks. Your claims can be based
on finance year or tax year depending
on whether you are treated as a company or charitable
trust for tax purposes.
Donations can be entered directly into Donations Co-ordinator
or imported from a variety of file formats, for example
Excel. A full audit trail is maintained as required
by the HMRC of course. Donations Co-ordinator also generates
the necessary R68 (Gift Aid) form and the R68 (Claim)
- both designs have been approved by the HMRC.
You can make claims for your one-off gifts separately
or each purpose separately. For example you can run
a fund raising campaign for a particular cause and then
make a claim on just the donations given to that cause.
You can generate annual statements, thank-you letters,
claim summaries, labels and many different reports are
easily available within Donations Co-ordinator.
All reports can be exported in a variety of different
formats including PDF and HTML. This enables you to
attach the reports to emails - which you can also send
from Donations Co-ordinator.
If you are upgrading from Gift then the information
can be transferred automically.
