Setting up accounts

In many double entry systems setting up the accounts can be frustrating and time consuming. Cashcall is different.

Cashcall has a 'Setup Wizard' designed to help those who are unfamiliar with accounting software and/or the SORP. It guides you step-by-step through the process. If you don't have all of the figures you can simply leave the wizard and come back at another time. Cashcall will remember where you are in the set-up process.

Even if you have completed the set-up process and are almost at the end of the year you can still go back to the 'Setup Wizard' and add any items you have missed.

The wizard automates the process wherever possible to help ensure that the accounts are set-up correctly and with the minimum of fuss.

Entering transactions

Entering transactions is quick, easy and safe. When you enter a receipt, for example, Cashcall will only display your income codes for selection and will only allow you to record the correct credit or debit entry. Cashcall also provides a 'Normal Income or Expenditure Transaction Wizard' to help those who are new to using accounts.

Although easy to use Cashcall retains the power and flexibility of recording journal entries whilst ensuring that your accounts remain in balance.
